Kwanzaa is a multi-day celebration of African-American culture that takes place starting on December 26 each year. The event lasts through January 1 with a communal feast called Karamu. The holiday was created in 1966 in the aftermath of the Watts riots in Los Angeles. The t-shirt designs here include imagery associated with Kwanzaa, including the Kinara candle holder, Mahindi (corn), and Zawadi (gifts).
